Nés à l'aube de l'été 2005, les Mondrians sont un quatuor bien ficelé de deux guitaristes-chanteurs, un bassiste et d'un petit excité à la batterie. Avec un son emprunté aux sixties, ainsi qu'une fougue rock'n'roll tirée des Kinks et des Who, le groupe s'exprime particulièrement en live. Une démo enregistrée en mai 2005 à la maison leur permet de tourner en Suisse et à l'étranger, notamment à Paris où le groupe crée un petit buzz. Depuis, ils ont parcouru des kilomètres entre Londres, Zurich et Lyon avec des groupes comme les Kooks, les Datsuns, Coming Soon ou encore The Draytones. Aujourd'hui, les Mondrians c'est quatre gosses sur-nourris à Lou Reed et Dylan dès leur petite enfance et qui tentent aujourd'hui d'exprimer toute leur énergie au son brillant d'un rock'n'roll grinçant et direct.

The Mondrians are a swiss rock'n'roll band born in the middle of the flowers in the summer of 2005. The band recorded their first demo in May and began playing a couple of gigs in the red country. On stage, the four boys offer a good and raw sound borrowed from the 60s rock & soul garage scene. In 2006 the band played in Paris (Fleche d'Or, Gibus, Triptyque), Lyon, London (93 Feet East) and in November, the band supported The Kooks at the Volkshaus in Zurich in front of an amazing crowd of 2000 crazy people. Their latest demo was recorded at AUM Studio in Bavois, with Patrick. The result of those 3 days is a bunch of great songs, respectively; Reason To Live, Llew The Kid and Pearl Of The Lake.
